The Casa Magna Colorado Robusto became a cigar industry sensation when it was named Cigar of the Year in 2008. The cigar, which retailed for all of $5 at the time, was a team effort, blended by Manuel Quesada from the Dominican Republic and the Plasencias of Central America. A year later, they expanded the line with this size, the Extraordinario, a large figurado with intriguing curves. This is the second time the Extraordinario has made our Top 25 list, and one taste will show you why. The cigar has a serious leathery quality with plenty of sweet nougat and cocoa to balance the tannic leather. A bit of earth and spice add to the complexity.
