Brand Notes
Status La Escepcion is a Discontinued pre-revolution brand, established in the 1850s. Production decreased in the 1980's and eventually discontinued 1989. In 2011, the brand was temporarily (?) reinstated for the release of the Regional Edition cigar for Italy.
Generally La Escepcion was a sister brand of the Hoyo de Monterrey brand. The range comprised very full strength cigars. There is a non-Cuban brand with the same name.
