The sole American cigar to make our Top 25 list, the Padilla Signature 1932 Lancero is a gorgeous, thin smoke rolled by Pepin Garcia for brand owner Ernesto Padilla. A Miami resident, Padilla has developed a knack for creating flavorful blends with the help of Garcia, and his 1932 line is one of his best. He named it for the birth year of his father, Herberto. Lanceros are difficult cigars to roll, but the artisans at El Rey de los Habanos get it right, capping each with an artful pigtail. The all-Nicaraguan cigar is leathery and earthy, with a spicy fruitiness that informs a medium to full body.
